Ky-Mani Marley

The name Marley perpetuates Jamaican royalty, it resonates, it is recognized all over the world and symbolizes the pioneer of a cultural, political and social revolution.

Even though he was born in Miami, Ky-Mani remains faithful to his Jamaican culture, and his affection for every genre of music influences his own creative work. His raw, pure and sudden sound catches the listener and reverberates Ky-Mani’s essence of life. Some songs, such as « Dear Dad », « I Pray », « Ghetto Soldier » show the versatility and ardent passion that Ky-Many exudes when he shares his journey in song.

He is exploring many universes from hip hop, R&B, to dancehall, and is aptly named because his name means “adventurous traveler” in Ethiopian.
His « KY-MANI MARLEY MAESTRO » album was the first edited on his own label Konfrontation Muzik Group and distributed in June 2016. In June 2017, Ky-Mani published «Conversations», a joint project with the artist Gentleman. Ky-Mani continually makes evident the myriad of influences in his new records and will for sure represent a new area of sound.
