Omar PerryBorn in 1968 in Jamaica, OMAR PERRY had the privilege to have as a father the legendary Lee « Scratch » Perry.He grew up seeing the greatest artists involved i the advent of reggae that could have had the benefit themselves of the genius of Lee Perry while recording at "Black Ark" studio : Max Romeo, Junion Murvin, Bob Marley and The Wailers. While touring with Horace Andy in 2005, Omar met Guillaume « Stepper » Briard, a talented musician and producer, who saw in him the potential of the new generation. They decided to work together on the production of his first album « Man free » released in 2007 and followed by « Can't Stop Us » in 2009, « The Journey » in 2011 and « Be Cool » in 2014. After more than a decade of touring Europe, Omar Perry has made his comeback in 2018 with 'New Dawn' an album with more Roots lyrics than ever "Living Legend [Jah Live]" and big tunes like "Sound The trumpet Feat. Dub Inc". A singular album at once spiritual and authentic. In 2019, he arrives for unique and powerful shows in sound system as in 2017 at Dour Festival or in 2019 at Toulouse Dub Club #30.
