Lutan Fyah - When Me Rise It

Born in St. Catherine, in Jamaica, Lutan Fyah has not learned to sing in churches, but in his “yard” (his district) where many singers came to practice. He worked in every studio in the area and was prepared by passing an audition at the studio Gargamel of Buju Banton.

It shoots with Jah Mason in particular and sign many singles in combination with Buju Banton, Anthony B, etc … He has also been heard on various albums of Turbulence and Luciano for example, with texts in a “couscious” spirit.

Lutan Fyah is an artist with a powerful singing and with proud and thoughtful words. His discography recounts more than ten album and many hits including Armageddon War, single released from Gargamel, who opened the doors of Europe and States.

In 2001, Ghetto Technologie invites him on the Nord West Reggae Fest in Washington. The show was really extraordinary that many dates were held throughout the States, to finally have a tour for a full month in Europe, to make breathtaking shows in German stages of Summerjam and Reggaejam, or the mythic Rototom Sunsplash in Italiy!

Lutan Fyah is a member of this new generation of artists in new-roots Jamaican who get the torch of the Reggae Spirit !
